Wallet Configuration
Why do I need to configure a wallet?
To place trades, the terminal needs to sign transactions on your behalf using your Polymarket wallet. This requires your private key.
Is it safe to enter my private key?
Your private key is encrypted before storage. It's only decrypted when signing transactions.
What's the difference between my main wallet and proxy wallet?
Main Wallet: Your primary Ethereum wallet for deposits/withdrawals
Proxy Wallet: Polymarket's trading wallet where positions are held
You need the proxy wallet address for this terminal
Where do I find my proxy wallet address?
Log in to Polymarket.com
Click your profile/user menu
Look for "Proxy Wallet" or "Trading Wallet"
Copy the address
Can I change my wallet later?
Yes, you can update your wallet configuration anytime in Dashboard → Wallet Settings.
Do I need to install anything?
