Polymarket Setup

Before configuring your wallet in the trading terminal, you need to get your credentials from Polymarket.

Step 1: Export Your Private Key from Polymarket

1. Log in to Polymarket

   • Go to polymarket.com

   • Sign in to your account

2. Navigate to Export Settings

   • Go to: https://polymarket.com/settings?tab=export-private-key

   • Or: Click your profile → Settings → Export Private Key

3. Export Your Key

   • Click "Start Export"

   • Complete any security verification (2FA, password confirmation)

   • Your private key will be displayed

   • Copy the entire private key

4. Store Safely

   • Keep this key secure

   • Don't share it with anyone

Step 2: Find Your Proxy Wallet Address

Your proxy wallet address is different from your main wallet address.

1. Option 1: From Polymarket Dashboard

   • Log in to Polymarket

   • Click on your user menu/profile dropdown

   • Look for "Proxy Wallet" or "Trading Wallet"

   • Copy the address

2. Option 2: From Account Page

   • Go to your Polymarket account page

   • Under account details, find "Proxy Wallet Address"

   • Copy the address

💡 Tip: Your proxy wallet address is the one that actually holds your positions and makes trades.
